About

About

Oxford? It was a natural choice to base ourselves in this historic city.

Oxford is not just a place full of beautiful architecture in the heart of some wonderful countryside. It’s a world-class seat of education, attracting the finest minds from around the globe.

You might find talent like this in other places of course; places like London, Paris or New York – but in Oxford, all that talent is based just a 15-minute cycle ride away from our studios. It is one of the many reasons we have thrived here.

Over the years, we have developed a first-class network in Oxford involving some of the hugely talented people who gravitate towards this beacon of learning. We have also formed strong bonds around the globe with a list of long-term customers that continues to grow.

We have created sightseeing tour commentaries in a multitude of languages for cities in Europe, America, Asia, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia. From Los Angeles to Hong Kong (the long way round …) we are the largest provider of multi-lingual sightseeing commentaries in the world; all produced from our unassuming studios in Oxford.

We have also worked on providing audio for video for countless projects in many languages; from famous voices enthusing over motor cars to instructional videos for international banks.

Voice? It’s what we do. We record and produce voice work.

The spoken word is our trade. We can advise you on it, help you write a script for it, we can even write it for you if you’d like.

We aim to create the conditions that enable your words to be heard most memorably. We can translate your words into any language, and we can find your words the voice that they deserve.

We script it, we translate it, we record it, we edit it, we deliver it.

And we love it.

Global - but local too.

We have customers of all sizes and all budgets, from all around the world. We like to help them all in the same way.

There’s never a dull day in the studios and we don’t like to record a dull word (no matter what language it’s in). Accordingly, we don’t charge for helping and advising you. We want to be proud of what we deliver, so if we can help your project sound a little better and work a little better, we are more than happy to do so.

If you want to find out more, or even just fancy a chat about how best to approach a job you’re thinking about – please give us a call or send us an e-mail.

We’re happy to talk - and it’s not all about selling you something. We like to overcome difficulties, solve problems and bring projects to life. We will also suggest ways to save money and spend less when it makes sense to do so.

Whether your organisation is planning a major project in many languages, or your small business down the road wants just a few minutes of video voiceover, we can help you.

And if you’re local enough to drop by? Gaisford Road offers unrestricted parking and we offer unlimited tea, coffee and empathy.

Testimonials

“From start to finish, Oxford Voice were helpful, professional and prompt. They analyzed our script and made suggestions on how to improve it, far beyond what we had expected from them. The fact that we operate our tours from the opposite end of the planet made no difference at all!”
Pauline Wright, City Tours Pty, Perth, Australia
“A simply superb and wonderful commentary in 13 languages. A very deserved thank you and congratulations to you and your team. The balance between content, information, seriousness and humour is spot on. And our customers from all over the world never cease to thank us.”
